amateur fights and

SCOTTIE GEARS UP FOR 8 ROUNDS
September 1, 2009
The Spark will be entering the ring in Halifax for his first 8 round match up again Aaron Kinch. The contract is signed and training continues for Scottie Paul. This match will take place at a pro-am show on October 3rd, the location has yet to be announced. The anticipation for this graduation from 4 rounds to 8 rounds is truly an exciting development for our fighter. Training and patience has paid off, and NFBC knows that Scottie Paul is more then ready for this development. The Spark is looking forward to the remainder of 2009 and the upcoming 2010 contracts.
RAMA SHOW CANCELED FOR SCOTTIE
Disappointing news for "The Spark" came through over the
weekend. The
promoter for the Casino Rama show has
canceled the match up between Scottie
"The Spark" Paul and
Jason Hayward on June 26th,
2009.

PAUL

Scottie "The Spark" Paul (4-2, 1ko) is ready to fight on a moments notice! Point proven when he accepted a match up with Dan Slezsak (0-2) this morning. The bout will take place on Saturday May 30th at the Brantford Civic Center. Head on up for a night at the fights.
Upon acceptance of the above match Manager Ron Gallen was again on the phone with yet another promoter looking to book Paul. June 26th, 2009 Paul will take on Jason Hayward on a Moliter undercard. Get your tickets NOW.
RESULT
Scottie "The Spark" Paul (5-2, 1ko) was awarded a win by decision after four full rounds of action on Saturday night. Paul rocked Slezsak (0-3) with his jab no less then once per round. Proving that even after dropping eight pounds in three days "The Spark" is a force to be reckend with. Paul is now preparing for his match up with Jayson Hayward (6-6, 2ko) coming up on June 26th at Casino Rama. Way to go Scottie!

Scottie "The Spark" Paul (3-2,1ko) is ready for his match up with Jorge Bannos (3-2-3) this evening at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. Contracts were settled back in February and preparations have been going on since then for our Scottie "The Spark". Paul, true to form, has been training relentlessly to improve skills and conditioning to ensure that this will be an exciting match up. Manager and coach, Ron Gallen made road trip after road trip to expose Scottie to some excellent sparring with "The Canadian Kid" Steve Molitor (28-1, 11ko) and Buzz Grant (6-3, 4ko). Anyone lucky enough to have tickets to this exclusive event should be sure to arrive for the first match up between these two warriors, it's going to be a great bout.
Thanks to Steve Molitor and Buzz Grant for the time spent to help prepare Scottie "The Spark" Paul for this match up.
RESULT
Bannos proved he was a tough contender after feeling Pauls power in the first round and nearly suffering a knock down. Bannos held on for the full six rounds despite "The Spark" controlling the match from start to finish. Paul was awarded a unanimous decision. Way to go Scottie "The Spark" Paul (4-2,1ko).

Scottie "The Spark" Paul (3-2, 1ko) suffered a disappointing loss against Josh "Steamin" Beeman (4-2-2, 2ko) at 1min 41sec of the 1st round. The match was stopped by the referee.
