Bio
Bobby Potter has been part of NFBC for just over five years. In that time, Bobby has boxed in numerous club shows and tournaments. Head coach Ron Gallen and Bobby had planned to turn Potter professional in 2009. Late in 2008, Bobby went on an extended leave to South Korea, putting the plans on hold. While in Asia, Bob discovered Jung-een Boxing Club to train at. The trainer there (Jung-een-che) was well impressed with Bobby's potential and brought in some sparring with a few Korean champions. The footage of sparring was sent to Coach Ron for some input. With the help of Jung-een-che and Coach Ron, Bob earned his Korean professional credentials. A surprise came when Bobby was invited to take part in a KBSN television program for professional boxers entitled "The Contender - Korea". Bobby had really "wowwed" the folks across the globe. Bobby Potter made his pro debut in Ulsan, South Korea on March 14th, 2009 exiting the ring with his first professional win.
